Squirrel
Mom, it's past my bed time
Playing with Bean, who is now her size
First beach trip...yay, water dog!
Trying hard to tell mom that she likes sticks better than balls
First picture, at the rescue. Her sister is behind her laying with the couple .
Still at the rescue, waiting for approval to adopt.
Finally home, exciting day, and now dog tired.
She gets creative drinking water.
She loves to sleep on her back.
This is her shy look...or worried, if she was naughty.
Oxygen chamber, Bordetella turned pneumonia...5 days after adoption.
Recovered like a champ and growing like a weed.
Losing the dark fur on her forehead. We called it her helmet.
First visit outside the home, in the big back yard of a friends place.
First hike, ears at high alert...nose working overtime.
What? You said there was a surprise inside...oh, I wasn't supposed to remove it?
Vaccinations complete, one of her first trips to the dog park, pre-COVID madness.
On a walk at the LA River, resting in the shade.
Sporting a tactical vest, loaded with rice on each side, trying to get her tired in 2 miles instead of 4-5 miles during "Safer at Home" when the dog parks closed.
Playing in the ivy in a nearby field because the dog parks were still closed. (No the rice in the vest didn't work well enough.)
At the field, learning that she prefers to fetch sticks.
Playing in the long grass at the field netted her some kind of bug bites on her tummy, it didn't stop her though.
Fostering Edward, the tabby, and Austen, the Siamese mix. She was pretty big and it scared them, until she laid down.
After wallowing in 6 inches of mud at the dog part, shortly after it re-opened in July.
First mountain hike in Angeles Oaks...handled the high altitude like a champ. Tried to swim in Jenks Lake.
Enjoying the dog park. (He 10 year old brother is in the background.)
First overnight in Big Bear, walking around the lake on the north shore.
It turns out she likes to stay at the dog park after dark. We now have an LED collar and a glow in the dark ball.
Claiming her spot next to mom on the new sofa.
No joking, she looked up and saw a plane, tracked it and got a little disoriented when stopped watching it. She discovered "up."
