At the Clinic for diuresis treatment.
I loved watching the kids in the store's parking lot.
This morning was my last time leaving our vet's clinic, before it was time to cross the rainbow bridge later in the afternoon at home.
Bill, Mark and Colton walked with me all around my favorite spots in the fields and in the yard before I went into the house for the last time. Now, I'm watching over all of them from a better place.
Little Joe and Dave "Red" have a 2020 reunion at the SPCA Serving Erie County.
Thanks for the recliner, dad! Hound dog red looks great on brown!
Bill, check the oven! Dinner is ready!
White fur, red upholstery, priceless!
Little Joe and his brother Colton, the beloved duo, enjoying the apartment's dog park and keeping it a safe place.
Mint julep recipe in my backpack.
I know I put it over here! I love munching fresh snow...it's like a Wendy's vanilla Frosty.
Weather forecast said a trace of snow.
I don't believe Billy said that...
Little Joe sleeping, keeping close watch over his brother Colton after his cancer surgery
Little Joe comforting his brother Colton after surgery
Mark, the Old Guy, needs a hot glue gun for his bones! Gotta watch him!
Waiting to install the cabinets
Billy loves me, this I know...It's been a good life, but today is my time to say "Thanks for loving me. I love all of you. Dr. Bannister is coming to the house soon to give me my sleeping medicine because my kidneys finally wore out. And readied me for my angel wings."
This ended up to be my last day in the dog park...now I see it from Heaven. I hope Billy is following the rules.
Billy always kept me well-groomed.
Um...we are checking the bed's memory foam mattress topper for Mark's back???
Should use this for my NY State Hound ID card.
I'm waiting for my next driving student
Infomercials, again...that Mac Cheese always sticks on the cheap pans!
What's a hound dog to do??
The guys administered subcutaneous fluids every day as ordered by my vet to help flush my failing kidneys. They were good at it. A quick needle prick and about 10 minutes. It helped for a while, with God's blessing. I'm watching Grandma Maureen and Grandpa Bob, now.
I love you, Bill. Thanks for rescuing me, and helping me to live longer than expected. You're the best guy a hound dog could ever have!
I had a lot to think about my last week. It was good. No regrets.
I loved the way Bill would rough house with me at Grandma's. She just rolled her eyes and was thrilled I gave Billy some good trouble the way he gave Grandma and Grandpa trouble as a kid.
There's a nice pond that dad dug over there!
My brother Colton and I are watching the grass grow out front. Nice job. Somebody's got to do it.
Silent Night...Holy Night. All is Calm. All is Bright.
Colton and I sure loved to go for rides in the truck, car, or wagon.
Always ready for a road trip with good snuggle time.
I offered to drive when we got gas...no such luck.
I always loved when Mark played the piano or organ.
"Plenty good room, yes, plenty good room in my Father's Kingdom!"
My two dads, Bill and Mark, brought me to PetCo as soon as we left the SPCA! There is a great God, and he placed me with two good guys! I was soon to have a new little brother, Colton, but, we didn't know that, yet.
Mark (dad) is driving the truck from the SPCA's parking lot. I'm the navigator while Bill is a back seat driver. I'm a 7 year old hound dog starting a new adventure!
They said I was on Scholarship, as the doctors decided I had special needs and probably wouldn't be around long. Hey, we all do! My guys took the best care of me possible, and I proved them all wrong!
Grandpa Bob used to share the ice cubes from his drinks with me. I won his heart, too.
Grandma Maureen couldn't hide her love for me. I was the first one beside her when she fell down the stairs and got hurt on the floor. One time, I ate a big package of chicken from the bag on the kitchen floor as she made several trips carrying groceries from the car. We always shared the box of vanilla ice cream at night. I really missed Maureen after she died and remembered her scent when I visited sad Grandpa Bob. Now, Grandma, Grandpa, and I are together again, all in a year's time.
Colton and Joe watch the neighbors at Grandma and Grandpa's house
We're waiting for FedEx to bring our Chewy order!
Mark always has good things for us to water!
I know what a dining room table is for.
Adoption Day July 3, 2017.
I really like the bald guy!
I always spoke to Bill man to man. His heart was always with me and he loved me unconditionally.
