This puppy was advertised in my area as a purebred Pomeranian and we paid $700 for her. The breeders husband is a cop in my area. We got Harley at six weeks old and when we took her to the vet at eight weeks old the vet told us that she is not a full-blooded Pomeranian and that she was likely a Chihuahua Pomeranian mix. We contacted the breeder and the breeder said that we could give her back but she would turn around and resell her as a full-blooded Pom because that is what she believed she was
She told us that she also bred Pomeranian Chihuahua mix and that she sells those for $500 and she offered to give us $200 back. We told her we weren’t in the market for a pom chi We wanted to full-blooded pom. So we decided to do a breed DNA test and as you can see she is Pomeranian Chihuahua but likely has three other breeds in her mix. Our results came in today and I texted them to the breeder and husband spoke with her husband . He doesn’t seem to see where his wife did anything wrong.
