Oh happy day when Mommy adopted me back in December of 2010 from an animal shelter in Arlington, Texas. The lady there said I was a stray they found running the streets, and that I was close to a year old. They also said I was a poodle, but boy did I fool them! ๐ All I know is that I'm furever grateful Mommy saved me from that scary place! ๐ณ Now I have the best grandpawents and furmily a little gal like me could ever wish for! ๐ฅฐ
In the beginning ... My mommy and me. โค๏ธ
My Mawmaw was my most favorite pawson evah, and I was her little sidekick. I was so sad when she crossed over the rainbow bridge, and I miss her every single day. ๐ But I know she's very proud of me, because I take such good care of Pawpaw for her. I can't wait to see here again one day! ๐
This is me back in my younger days when I was full of piss and vinegar and completely ran the show. Wait a minute! Who am I trying to fool?! I'm still the "boss" around these here parts! ๐คช
Because I spent some time in Arlington, Texas before Mommy adopted me, I was always showing my big sis Pansy how the Dallas Cowgirls shake their tails. This is us practicing our "sis-boom-bah" cheer. ๐ฃ
Just a sassy, wee lil' lassie tiptoeing through the clover! โ๏ธ
I was having a lot of problems with my ears, so Mommy started having my hair cut really short! ๐ณ I didn't like it at first and kept telling her I was a Maltese not a Westie! ๐ But then my ears stopped hurting, so now I love my new doo! ๐
Here's me and my two big sisters Emily and Pansy posing for our Christmas 2017 photo. Can you tell I always have to be front and center? Mommy says I'm a little attention "ho"! ๐
Boy how I loved my big sisters Pansy and Emily. We all had a lot of fun back in the day. Pansy passed over the rainbow bridge in 2019, and Emily in 2021, but they both still come to check up on their little sis from time to time. And if you think they were white then, you should see them now! ๐ณ Plus, they both have angel wings and can fly! ๐ I tell them that Mommy and Pawpaw still talk about them all the time, and they both just smile and say, "We know." โค๏ธ
Christmas 2020 with my Pawpaw! Oh be still my beating heart!!! Did I mention I LOVE my Pawpaw?! ๐
This is my kind-of-sort-of new little brother Charlie. He came to live with us back in May of 2021. I guess he's okay for a stinky boy except that he does like to get up in my personal space from time to time. I mostly ignore him but when I've had enough, I snap at him to "backoff dude"! ๐ Mommy calls him her little Shih Tzu, and I couldn't agree more! ๐ฉ
My Pawpaw is always falling asleep on the couch while reading his newspaper. ๐๏ธ I think it must wear him out having to sort through all those different sections just to find the sports page, so I try and help him out by arranging it all at his feet. There, now he can see everything all at once! I just don't understand why he never thanks me for all my hard work?! ๐ค
That's me with my new little sis Sophia Rose. She came to live with us back in February of 2022. I've been showing her the ropes ever since, and I think I finally have her trained?! WHEW!!! ๐ฎโ๐จ Anyway, here we are riding shotgun as we head to the beauty pawlor to get our hair and nails did! ๐
We're just one big ol' happy family, but I'm still the top dog around here! ๐ฅ
Well that's all for now folks! Please check back periodically as Mommy thinks I'm the bomb and plans on posting more photos and even some videos too! Meanwhile, have a pawsome day! Love, Bella ๐พ
